We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2022, at the age of 86, John Barboza Vincent of New London, Connecticut, born in Norwich, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his daughter Tania Robin Vincent (Tammy); his parents, Anibal Vincent and Louisa Vincent (Williams); his siblings, Benjamin, Edward, Rita Ransom and Charlotte Fernandes; his cousin Catherine Williams; and his close friend Roy Barboza (Boz).

He is survived by : his wife Roberta J. (Delgado); his sons, Robert L. Howard II of Hartford, CT, Eugene Simonds of Providence, RI and Rocky A. Vincent of Sanford, NC; his sister Marion Livramento of Groton; his grandchildren, Michelle Vincent (Boxer Shelito), Deanna Daniels (Steve), Andrea Hadley, Sherica Watson, Brian McAden, Kamari, Robert III, Quincy Howard and Autumn Simonds; and his great grandchildren, Giovanni Vincent, Mercedes Vincent, Isiah, Zoey Daniels, Jade, Julius Totten, Gabriel Denecour, Julian Ramos, Teyonna, Markee and Shakyia Watson. He is also survived by Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, wonderful and life-long friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory; Ocean Beach was one of the places which John loved; therefore, his family will be purchasing a bench on the boardwalk, with a commemorative plaque engraved in his memory.
