With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judith Strutt (New London, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Judith left this world on November 10, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cope and Julia Cope (Potkay); her daughter Tara Lyn Nisson; her brothers, Robert, Jr. and Michael Cope; and her niece Mary Cope.
She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Strutt; her daughter Heather Reynolds (Steven); her grandson Zachary Belisle (Kiera); her great grandchild Elise; and her granddaughter Alexandria Hammoud (Aly). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home (84 Montauk Ave, New London, CT 06320). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (63 Old Norwich Rd, Quaker Hill, CT 06375).
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Judy's compassion for others, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Haitian Health Foundation, 97 Sherman Street, Norwich, CT 06360.
