He was predeceased by: his siblings, Owen F. Coffey of Niantic, Jane Butler of Montville, Donald Coffey of Niantic and Catherine Buessler of Minnesota; and his daughter Beverly Coffey of North Carolina.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Coffey of Niantic; his children, Michael (Amelinda Coffey), Nancy Coffey (John Schell), Eileen (Robert Gordon) and Rebecca Coffey of Massachusetts; and his grandchildren, Zigmond Coffey, Sean Coffey, Anna Schell, Henry Schell, Elijah Gordon, Riley Gordon and Adele Bragg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home (48 Grand St, Niantic, CT 06357). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (22 Haigh Ave, Niantic, CT 06357).
