He was predeceased by : his spouse Fay E. Toohey Cavan; his parents, Benito Cavan and Maria Dacayanan Cavan; his siblings, Delfino Cavan, Bonafacio Cavan, Nazarius Cavan, Paulino Cavan, Custudio Cavan, Anna Barbara Cavan Bernil (Bert) and Rebecca Davalos; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Toohey Barbour (Donald) and Colleen Toohey Will.
He is survived by : his sons, Bruce Cavan and Scott Cavan (Lucille); his grandsons, Ryan (Heather), Shaun (Stephanie) and Kai Cavan; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Payton; his brother-in-law Donald Toohey, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Melissa Mettler; his sisters, Edeletrudis Mcaviney (Adele) and Inez Tokashiki; and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Cavan, Cavan Hiroko Hausen (Sandy) and Diego Davalosand. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
