He is survived by: his children, Ann Scarpa, Bruce and Matthew Scarpa, Sr.; his grandchildren, Megan Baker, Natalie, Tandi Palmer and Mathhew; his great grandchildren, Trenton, Declan, Adalynn and Jelani; and his siblings, Peter, Angeline, Jack, Lillian, Alphonse and Louisa.
