She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert Swingler and Dorris Wheeler. She is survived by: her husband Clair R. Baker, Jr.; her children, Ariel C. Baker of Winsted, Jared J. Baker of Portland, OR and Alyssa Baker of Bantam; her siblings, William Medina, Irving Medina, Marilyn Medina, Edwin Medina, Hector St. Clair and Zulema Parchment; and her grandchildren, Trey Bayette, Jackson Halsted, Cheyanne Halsted, Bella Baker and Grayson Baker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
