We announce the death of Ellen Laurie Thompson of New Milford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 67. Ellen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Oshins; and her niece Kristen Grosso. She is survived by: her mother Joan Oshins (Goldberger); her husband Jim Thompson of New Milford; her children, Nicole Mitchell (Sean), Eric Thompson (Amanda) and Scott Thompson (Katie); and her siblings, Robin Cosgrove (Mike) and Michael Oshins (Patty).
