With sadness, we share the passing of Eva (Gruhn) Koerner of New Milford, Connecticut. Eva, born on June 23, 1941, passed away on August 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erich Gruhn and Marlene Gruhn (Zwahr); her brother Klaus Gruhn; and her husband Ted. She is survived by: her former husband Hans Poethke; her friends, Gail and Mary Jane; her sons, Martin (Laura) and Stephan (Joan); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Madeline, Eleanor, Michael, Hannah, Erich and Jack; her great grandchildren, Tristan and Oskar; and her aunt Barbara Lambrecht-Schadeberg of Germany.
