Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Schenzer and Helen G. Schenzer (Beynon); and his son Darryl W. Schenzer. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Schenzer (Bennitt); his daughter Ellen L. Schenzer of Ka'a'awa, HI; his grandchildren, Naomi, Tori and Alexis Fields; his brother Daniel E. (Barbara); and his brother-in-law Paul J. Bennitt of Danbury, CT. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of New Milford (36 Main St, New Milford, CT 06776).
