He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Scott Gott and Edna Bowman Gott; his former wife Marilyn Roloson Gott; his sons, Garry and David Gott; and his siblings, Phyllis Jean Gott, Carrie Malinowski, Ada Brucker, Rachel Tadlock, Richard Lee Gott and Robert Gott.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Andriski-Gott; his daughter Jeanne D'Elia; his daughter-in-law Terri Gott; his grandchildren, Ian Gott, Cassandra Evans and Tiffany Valerio; and his great grandchildren, Jeff and John Evans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the T. S. Purta Funeral Home (22 Glenmere Ave, Florida, NY 10921). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Florida Cemetery (41 Bridge St, Florida, NY 10921).
