He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ratchford; his parents, William T. Ratchford and Elizabeth M. Ratchford (Sullivan); and his brother William Ratchford. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Ratchford of New Milford, Judy Carlson (Scott) and Robert Ratchford of Sandy Hook; and his brother Richard Ratchford (Roseanna) of Staten Island.
