The passing of Alice (Dusek) Swanke of Newington, Connecticut, born in Chicago, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 18, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Rudolph Dusek and Agnes Dusek; her husband Roy Leo Swanke; and her sister Maryann Prokes. She is survived by : her children, Roy (Bernice) of Monona, WI, John (Cathryn) of Terryville, CT, Paul (Joyce) of West Hartford, CT, Karl (Margaret) of Essex Junction, VT, Mark (Laurie) of Wayland, MA, Robert (Rosemary) of New Hartford, CT, Jeanne of Canton, CT and Kurt (Lauri) of Colchester, CT.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (145 Main St, Unionville, CT 06085). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
