She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Traska and Mary Traska (Tofil); and her significant other George Filanowicz. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Nurmi of Newington and Kevin Filanowicz (Sandra) of Newington; her grandchildren, Michael Bernier, Ryan Nurmi and Deanna Nurmi; her great grandchildren, Jayden Reid and Braelynn Edwards; and her siblings, Dorothy Starr and Michael Traska (Elaine) of Ellington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
