She was predeceased by: her husband Burton E. Callahan, Jr.; her parents, Dr. Leo T. Duffy and Louisa Duffy (Dunn); and her stepson Skip Callahan. She is survived by: her children, Michael T. Lombardi, Kelly Saunders and Christopher Lombardi; her stepchildren, Susan Masiello (Tom), Neil Callahan (Maureen), Eddy Callahan (Loralyn) and Scott Callahan (Kathy); her grandchildren, Charles Saunders, Levi Lombardi and Alexis Lombardi; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Masiello, Alyssa Masiello, Ryan Callahan, Tyler Callahan, Lyndsey Callahan, Sean Callahan, Patrick Callahan, Maggie Callahan, Jessica Callahan and Rachel Callahan; and her siblings, Michael T. Duffy, Nancy Duffy and Catherine Duffy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (183 Church St, Newington, CT 06111). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the West Meadow Cemetery (679 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
