She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Edman and Clementine Edman; her brother Arvid Edman of Newington; her former husband Jay Cole, Jr.; John Doherty.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynne DeFusco; her grandson Johnathan of Newington; her daughter Kelly Doherty-Schaffner (Patrick Schaffner); and her grandchildren, Jack and Kaitlyn of Glastonbury.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (183 Church St, Newington, CT 06111). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06053).
