He was predeceased by: his wife Olga Glabau (Lehman); his parents, William Glabau and Sophie Glabau (Voight); and his sisters-in-law, Irene Prigodich (Steve) and Mary Ann Lehman.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Friedman (Mark) of Tolland and Ernest Glabau, Jr. (Patty Pagano) of Burnham, ME; his daughter-in-law Bianca St. Louis of Brooklyn, NY; his granddaughters, Danya Glabau (Peter Rawlings) of Brooklyn, NY and Tiala Young (Art) of Denver, CO; his great grandchild Althea Rawlings; his brother-in-law Joseph Lehman of Canton; and his caregiver Christiana Halm. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the West Meadow Cemetery (679 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
