She was predeceased by: her husband Pasquale Pappalardo; her parents, Gaetano Fontana and Paola Fontana (Pentecoste); her grandson Justin; and her brothers, Antonio and Salvatore.
She is survived by: her children, Marisa Fidelio (Carmelo), Paula Marturano (Vincent), Donna Patane (Paolo), Ralph Pappalardo (Carmela), Geatano Pappalardo and Christina; her grandchildren, Milena, Stephanie, Francesca, Melissa, Gianpaolo, Christina, Jessica, Daniella, Alexia and Luke; her great grandchildren, Madison, Giuliana, Penelope, Junior, Kayden, Sofia, Carina, Jameson, Olivia, Riley and Christian; her sisters, Giovanna and Mariella; and her caregiver Vanessa. She is also survived by her sister in law and brother in law, and many nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations in Francesca's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, CT Chapter: https://www.alz.org and friends are invited to visit with Francesca's family on Thursday, July 16th, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 a.m. at the Duksa Family Funeral Home at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, CT 06111, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. Mary Church, 626 Willard Ave, Newington, CT.
