She was predeceased by : her parents, John Smulski and Mary Smulski; her husband Frank J. Bokan; and her siblings, Estelle Piencykoski, Helen Mierzejewski, Julie McKney, Joseph Jastrzemski, John Jastrzemski and Stanley Jastrzemski.

She is survived by : her children, Robin (Francis Rooney) of Newington and Gregory Bokan of Broad Brook; and her great grandchild Aayla Rooney of New Britain.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the West Meadow Cemetery (679 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
