James Murphy Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Murphy Jr. of Newington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Claire; and his siblings, Arthur Murphy, Cornelius Murphy and Pauline Neyer.
He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn; his children, Mark Murphy (Jane) of Rocky Hill, Eileen Murphy of Rocky Hill and Keith Murphy (Tammy) of Rocky Hill; his grandchildren, Lindsay Murphy, Jered, Julie Murphy, Jordin, Frank Raya, Joshua and Olivia Murphy; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Judah, Jaron, Judson, Selah, Jericho, Bowen, Jubilee and Priest; his sister Jeannette Celani; and his sister-in-law Katherine Carlson. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
