With sadness, we share the passing of Lola F. Jara of Newington, Connecticut. Lola, born on November 22, 1929, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Fausto" Jara; her parents, Bartolome Aldave and Vicenta Barba; her children, Adita Ruth and Willy "Henry" Jara; and her siblings, Asunción Aldave, Juan Aldave, Francisco Aldave, Abel Aldave and Victor Aldave.
She is survived by: her children, Wilda Maglieri (Danny), Rose DeMartino and Ketty; her grandchildren, Sal, Nora Jara Zarazu (Armando), Claire Sagarino (Rob), Cesar Jara (Darka), Carmela Savvas (Sam), Priscilla, Francis, Vanessa, Rocio Susana, William, Stephanie, Alexander, Adam and Brandon; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Mazzy, Miles, Quinley and Kai; and her sisters, Bertha Aldave and Elvira Aldave. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Annunciation Parish- St. Mary's (626 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
