He was predeceased by: his sister Sheila. He is survived by: his wife Janet Shapiro; his daughter Lisa Gunty (Murry) of Bethesda, MD; his grandchildren, Skylar, Matthew and Miles; his son David Shapiro (Maggie) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Abigail and Jack; and his sisters, Helene and Grace.
