She is survived by: her children, Barbara Balducci (Donald) of Colchester, CT, Catherine Birmingham (Angelo) of Quinton, VA, Karen Cove (Michael) of Rutland, MA, Dianne Scotton (Thomas) of Middletown, CT, Mark Bies (Patty) of Powhatan, VA, John Bies (Theresa) of Simpsonville, SC, Michael Bies (Carina) of South Windsor, CT and Timothy Bies (Alivia Owens) of Seattle, WA; her grandchildren, Gregory Balducci, Emily Nicol, Grayson Baughman (Jessica), Sarah Parsons (Jacob Macomber), Brittany Macellero (Nick), Luke, Kevin Scotton, Ben Kenney (Haleigh), Kyle, John, Justin, Brooke, Taylor and Sean Bies; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Ava, Leona, Brady, Ryan, Decker, Parker and Katie. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1401 Greenwood Hwy, McCormick, SC 29835).
