She was predeceased by : her parents, Alice Lally and Jean Fiondella; her husband Raymond Lurate; her daughter Ann Lurate Lupo; her grandson Daniel Ferrara; and her siblings, Anita Carrieri and Jay Fiondella.
She is survived by : her family, Kathleen, Sal Ferrara, John, Diane Lurate, Margaret Lurate, David, James, Beth Lurate, Mary Ellen Lurate, William, Yolanda Lurate and Kerry Lurate; and her son-in-law Armand Lupo. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers, however memorial donations in Rita's name may be made to the Ann Lurate Lupo Scholarship, Dept. of Allied Health Sciences, 358 Mansfield Rd. U2101, Storrs, CT 06269-0210 or the Ct.
