She is survived by: her children, Maria Alers, Magda Alers-Cruz (Modesto), Ada Alers, Pedro Alers, Tomas Alers (Cindy), Felix and Sebastian Mendez; her boyfriend William Lopez; and her siblings, Juan Antonio, Angel, Doris, Carmen, Elizabeth and Aida. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
