With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Suzanne M. Stackhouse of Newington, Connecticut, who passed away on March 23, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Potetz (Zawada) and Edwin Potetz; her brother John Potetz; and her parents-in-law, Marion and Frank Stackhouse.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Stackhouse of Bristol; her daughter Caroline (Christopher) of Ridgefield; her grandchildren, Penelope, Nora and Oliver; her son Edwin (Rachel) of Old Lyme; her sister Rosemary Bosse (Gary); her nieces and nephews, Maryrose and Joseph of Newington; her sister Alice Stackhouse (Robert); her nieces, Alison and Christine; and her nephew Robert.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's, a cause very important to Sue's heart.
