With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tonya M. (Iannone) David Oakes of Newington, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nicola Iannone and Stella Iannone (Yogoda); her significant other Robert G. David, Sr.; her brother Nicola Iannone; and her brother-in-law Adolf David (Marion).

She is survived by : her children, Robert (Peg David), Kyle (Iolanda Knight) and Samantha; her son-in-law Joseph Carofano; her grandchildren, Josh David (Michelle), Kristen Klein (Kevin), Amanda Carofano, Joey Carofano, Lindsay Knight and Aliza Knight; her great grandchildren, Nicholas David, Squib David, Benjamin David and Cambree Klein; her sister Carol Klecowsky (Joe) of Hamden, CT; and her sisters-in-law, Dottie Novak (Butch) and Midge Oakes (Richard). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces and extended family.
