With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William P. Carroll of Newington, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on June 24, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Carroll and Josephine Autenrith (Ryan); his stepfather Gerald Autenrith; his aunt Alice; and his uncle Philip Ryan.
He is survived by: his stepson Richard Niro (Jennifer) of Southington, CT; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Emma. He is also survived by his wife's family, including her siblings, their spouses, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Tpke, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Incarnation (544 Prospect St, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
