He is survived by: his wife Deanne Wilcome Herring; his son Keir Hansen (Julie) of Simsbury, CT; his grandson Jakob; his son Joseph Hansen of Whitefield; his grandchildren, Marco, Ash, Jameson, Jackson and David Rosvally (Carrie) of Sandy Hook, CT; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Kaelyn.
