She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken Poggenburg and Elizabeth Poggenburg (Betty) of Jackson Heights. She is survived by: her husband Daniel J. Amaral; her daughters, Catherine Freitas (John) of Maple Grove, MN, Cynthia Stierle (Christopher) of Sandy Hook, CT and Cheryl Shea (Jeffrey) of North Smithfield, R. I.; her grandchildren, Joshua Freitas (Hannah), Samantha Freitas, Michael Stierle (Elizabeth) and Emma Stierle; her great grandchildren, Noa and Oaken Freitas; and her siblings, Ken Poggenburg (Sheila) and Linda Whyte (Robert). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
