In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Cynthia's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ezzell and Dorothy Ezzell; and her brother Keith Ezzell. She is survived by: her husband David Broughton; her daughter Stacy Carey (Jason); her grandchildren, Luke and Liliana; and her close friend Brenda Burroughs. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Honan Funeral Home (58 Main St, Newtown, CT 06470).
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to the Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
