He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnett Friedman and Helen Friedman; and his brother Alan Friedman. He is survived by: his wife Lana Joy Zelonky; his children, Lynsey Leigh Birnbaum (Jeffrey), Harley Alexander Friedman (Abigail) and Andrew Harrison Friedman (Gaby); and his grandchildren, Brett, Ryan Birnbaum, Shane, Jude, Lily Friedman, Kyle and Avery Friedman.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Chapel (100 Saw Mill River Rd, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed's memory to the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary would be appreciated.
