He was predeceased by : his parents, Harrison Waterbury and Mildred Waterbury (Hasbrouck); and his son Brian P. Waterbury. He is survived by : his wife Geraldine P. Waterbury (Boylan); his children, MaryKate Romano (Peter) of Ashburnham, MA and Michael H. Waterbury (Colleen); his grandchildren, Owen, Lindsay, Gabriella Romano, Hadley, Harrison, Francine and Curran Waterbury; his sister Mildred Eileen Freebairn (Waterbury) of Bethel; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Doyle of Old Saybrook and Sheila Boylan (Donald Wiede) of Katonah, NY.. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and extended family.

Kristin Murray wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Gerry and family, Harry was my first manager when I joined Dupont in 1993 after finishing college. I have so many fond memories of working for Harry. I loved his sense of humor, kind heart and most of all the many stories he would tell. After he retired he crossed paths again when he re-financed our mortgage. My heart and prayers go out to you.
