It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Pendergast of Newtown, Connecticut, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Pendergast to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Pendergast (Bresson) and John V. Pendergast, Sr.; his sons, James Pendergast and Kevin Pendergast; his stepson Robert Marino; and his siblings, Fred Pendergast, Sr. and Evelyn Andrejczyk.
He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Karen Curran (David) and Joseph Pendergast; his stepdaughter Cindy Marino (Duane); his daughter-in-law Carrie Pendergast; his grandchildren, Jessica Stephens (Nick), Jeremy Pendergast (Kendra), Andrew Pendergast (Danielle), Rachel Pendergast, Michael Sereday and Joshua Curran; his great grandchildren, Noah Pendergast and Lucas Shpunt; and his sister Eileen Garlichs (Andrew). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
