We announce the death of Susan K. Vasone of Newtown, Connecticut, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 66. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Rose Vasone (Kevin McCaughey) of Plantsville and John Nicholas Vasone (Rachel) of Fairfield; her fiancé Brian Nadro of Newtown; her mother Marianne Farrell of Westport; her siblings, Kathryn Farrell (Kevin Hall) of Newtown and Mark "Sparky" Farrell of Westport; her nieces, Kaitlyn Mawicke and Samantha (Devone Thomas); her nephew Jason (Lizzie Mawicke); and her grandchildren, Charlotte, Connor, Payton, Casey and Jack.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home (4 Gorham Pl, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Church (5170 Madison Ave, Trumbull, CT 06611). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
