Virginia Breen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Breen (Newtown, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gallagher and Irene Gallagher; her siblings, Doris Mertens and Walter Gallagher, Jr.; her daughter Cathy Breen Austermann; her granddaughter Haley Austermann of Newtown, CT; and her son Dennis Breen of Mount Kisco, NY.
