He was predeceased by: his father Gus Kydes; his grandparents, Nicholas, Kiriaki Kydes, Frank and Margaret Cappiello; and his aunt Mary Catherine Cappiello.

He is survived by: his mother Peggy Cappiello Kydes of Niantic; his sister Nicki Roach (Shawn Roach) of Niantic; and his sibling's children, Sydney Soja-Roach, Ava Roach, Ashley Roach, Shawn Soja-Roach, AJ and Eli. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
