He was predeceased by: his father Harry Perkins. He is survived by: his mother Ellen Myers Perkins; his wife Martha Shea Perkins; his son Daniel Perkins; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth; and his siblings, Steven, Carl, Gregory Perkins and Mary Wegener.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Coast Guard Foundation in Jim's memory to support the community of service members and families who protect our nation's coasts and waterways.
