It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Leonard of Niantic, Connecticut, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lynn and Margaret Hudon Cunningham; and her brother Thomas Cunningham. She is survived by: her children, Ryan Leonard of Rocky Hill and Laurie Green (Tom) of Niantic; her stepdaughter Nikki Fagan (Cobia) of St. Thomas, U. S; her brother Daniel Cunningham (Marcie) of Niantic; and her grandchildren, Jack, Alyssa Green, Coby and Paige Fagan. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home (48 Grand St, Niantic, CT 06357). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (22 Haigh Ave, Niantic, CT 06357). A burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the Connecticut State Veteran Cemetery.
