She was predeceased by: her husband Carl "Cappy" Patterson; and her parents, Bernard Carson and Catherine McVeigh Carson. She is survived by: her sister Jane Carson Welsh of Alexandria. She is also survived by 15 nieces and 3 nephews, numerous god children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church (69 Groton Long Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340).
The family kindly asks that contributions to the American Lung Association or the Lung Cancer Research Foundation be considered in lieu of flowers.
