She was predeceased by : her parents, George Watrous, III and Elizabeth Stevens Watrous; her son Gerald V. Cappiello, Jr.; and her caregivers, Shahnaz and Jocelyn.

She is survived by : her husband Edward Clough; her daughter Rebecca Gordon (William) of Higganum; her grandchildren, Liam and Riley; her brother John "Jack" (Jacqueline Watrous) of East Haven; her nieces, Kaitlyn and Megan; and her brother James Watrous of Florida.
