Frances Sgueglia Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Sgueglia of North Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Frances leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Sgueglia; and her parents, Michael Fabrizi and Domenica Fabrizi (DiGiovanni). She is survived by: her children, Cynthia and John (Cynthia Nieslen); and her sisters, Mary, Barbara (Chuck) and Patricia (Danny). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Porto Funeral Home (234 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (30 Caputo Rd, North Branford, CT 06471).
