Iris Kuerbitz Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Iris Kuerbitz of North Branford, Connecticut. Iris, born on August 3, 1932, passed away on June 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Alpers and Erna Alpers; her husband James Kuerbitz; and her brothers, Morley, Ronald and Richard Alpers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Borchelt (Herbert) of Mayfield Heights and Robert Alpers (Shirley) of New Providence, Iowa.; and her children, Christie Day (Robert) of Branford, Steven Kuerbitz (Carolyn), Ronald Kuerbitz (Judith Gimik) of Gloucester, Mass and Robert Kuerbitz (Kristine) of Grand Blanc, Michigan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and four (soon to be six) great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Tabor Lutheran Church.
