He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice Burke and Flora LeDuc Burke; his sisters, Patricia Kelley and Barbara Bogert; and his girlfriend Elizabeth Lucas.

He is survived by : his children, Michael Burke, Jr., Jason Burke (Andrea), Christopher Burke and Ryan Marie West (Greg); his grandchildren, Samantha Shelby Burke and Connor Jason Burke; his stepchildren, Jennifer Comerford (William), Shannon DaRos (Peter) and Jessica Melillo (Thomas); his stepgrandchildren, Cauley Comerford, Hunter DaRos, Ava Melillo, Thomas Melillo and Kamryn Melillo; his sisters, Karen Catalano, Elaine Norwood and Cindy Acri William (Shawn); and his pet Pebbles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew.
