Linda Windrow Veirs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Linda Windrow Veirs of North Granby, Connecticut, born in Brownsville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Helen Veirs Rice of Granby and Walter Veirs of London, UK.; and her grandchildren, James Rice, Will Rice, Henry Rice, Sanna Veirs and Ian Veirs.

Linda was the head librarian for the East Granby Public Library for 15 years; her significant contribution to the new library completed in 2002 was recognized by the East Granby Lions Club by their naming Linda as the East Granby Citizen of the Year for 2002.
