He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert W. Simmons Sr. and Ella Simmons (Smith); his wife Vera Elizabeth Simmons (King); his siblings, William S., Edgar Simmons and Elizabeth Berdan; and his stepmother Ruth Simmons (Ludwig).
He is survived by : his children, Robert W. III (Patricia Ann Simmons) of Pequea, PA, Joan E. (Kurt Miglinas) of Waterville, VT and Nancy S. (John Woods) of West Suffield, CT; his grandchildren, Rachael King Simmons (Tim Gertz) of Pequea, PA, Theodore D. (Colleen Luebbert) of Tyrone, PA, Kathleen Vera (Brian Besade) of Marlborough, CT, Stephanie Anne (Brendan Murphy) of Willsonville, OR, Jeremy John (Amy Miglinas) of Bayfield, CO, Kristen Jane (Elliot Rocheleau) of Underhill, VT, Kara Elizabeth (Jesse Dunn) of Burke, VT and Mikal-Lyn (Robert Kimmel) of Ooltewah, TN; and his great grandchildren, Emanuel, Kaden, Derek, Logan, Eamon, Kellan, Channon, Siri, Sam, Effie, Simon, James, Eliza, Vera, Elle and Crew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, dear friends and special neighbors.
