He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrow Welles and Louise Welles (Clow). He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Ferraro (Andrew) of North Branford and Christine Welles (Stephen Gambardella) of East Haven; and his grandchildren, Madelyn, Mason and Andrew Ferraro.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Yale New Haven children's Hospital toy closet program.
