It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Claudia E. Sortito of North Haven, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 89, on October 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William F. Sortito; her parents, Eugene A. Labagnara and Margaret Affinito Labagnara; and her siblings, Laurine Vitale (late Angelo), Anthony (Madeline) and Eugene Labagnara (Carole).
She is survived by: her children, Laurine Candido (late Mark) and Michael Sortito; her grandchildren, Michael Andrew and Marisa Lynn; and her sister Diane Menchetti (Nate). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear, sweet friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (115 Pond Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492).
