He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Sbabo; his parents, Livio Sbabo and Jeane Sbabo; and his brother Leonard (Carol) of East Haven. He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Guarnieri of Sturgis, MI; his children, Cheryl Calabrese (Michael) of Clinton, Thomas Sbabo (Holly) of Hamden, Donald Sbabo Jr. (Lorraine) of North Haven and Lisa Bryson (Gary) of North Haven; and his nephew Don. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandsons, and 8 nieces and nephews, and a multitude of lifelong extended family.
