He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Carmichael and James Carmichael; his siblings, Juanita, Arlene, Christine, Annie Carmichael, Billy, Herbert, Benjamin, Lindy and Johnny Carmichael; his father-in-law Frederick J. Little Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle Reid, Markiese Crenshaw, Frederick J. Little Jr. and Herman Williams.
He is survived by: his sons, P. J. Carmichael and Apostle Mark Vereen; his goddaughter Janel Perry; his siblings, Essie Mae Jones (Todd) and James Carmichael; his mother-in-law Helen Little; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Coleman (Hurie), Vineta Watson (Laverne), Jocelyn Fagan (Nathaniel) and Douglas Bethea (Titiana). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Revival Church (450 W Todd St, Hamden, CT 06518). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
