She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph L. Lowery, Sr.; her parents, Lloyd Gibbs and Alma Lee Credle Gibbs; her son Ronald Lowery; and her brother Raymond Credle.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph L. Lowery, Jr. (Darlene) and Maurice Lowery (Esther); her siblings, Lenus Gibbs and Willa Mae Bailey; her nephew Melvin Credle; and her sister-in-law Martha Bromell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Curvin K. Council Funeral Home (128 Dwight St, New Haven, CT 06511).
